The Georgia Straight presents the Proclaimers at the Commodore Ballroom

      Folk-pop band the Proclaimers is set to perform at the Commodore Ballroom on October 11.

      The Scottish ensemble is famous for such hits as "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)", "Sunshine on Leith", "I'm on My Way", and "Letter From America".

      Opening act is Jenny O.

      Tickets for the Vancouver show are priced at $35 (plus service charges and fees), and go on sale this Friday (April 15) at 10 am at Live Nation.
