The Georgia Straight presents the Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival at Deer Lake Park

Live Nation has announced that the Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival will be held at Deer Lake Park on Saturday, August 6. Get your early bird tickets starting April 22.

Now in its seventeenth year, the summer event will once again feature a full day of music in a picturesque, family-friendly environment. This year’s lineup includes: Colin James, Frazey Ford, Cyril Neville and the Royal Southern Brotherhood, Como Mamas, Lindi Ortega, Cecile Doo Kingue, Shred Kelly, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, Dawn Pemberton, Ben Rogers, Billy Dixon, and Wes Mackie.

Early bird tickets go on sale Friday, April 22, at 12 p.m. Single tickets priced at $50 and four-pack tickets priced at $150 (plus service charges and fees). Early bird sale ends June 1 at 11:59 p.m.

Regular tickets go on sale June 2, and are priced at $60.00 and four-pack tickets priced at $200 (plus service charges and fees).
