Homeless in Vancouver: Must have been a pig to wrap!

    1 of 2 2 of 2

Last night I spied a dusty porcine profile in paper.

Like many things residents put out in the back alleys of Fairview, I saw it but still couldn’t say exactly what it was—a pinata, an unopened birthday present, or the mummified remains of a beloved pet (they”ll always have you Babe!).

It was outside by the garbage and recycling  but it clearly wasn’t there as trash, more as a decorative element. Or perhaps a message to all us binners going through the recycling bins looking for returnable beverage containers:

Help ourselves but don’t be a pig about it.
