Musical duo Carli and Julie Kennedy will perform at the Evergreen Cultural Centre (1205 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam) on July 19 as part of Aaargon Music on the Grill.

The identical twin sisters from Powell River have developed a sound that blends country, folk, jazz, and classical music, but is all their own. Carli is featured on vocals and guitar, while Julie performs vocals, violin, mandolin, and bass guitar.

The sixth annual Music on the Grill series starts with a gourmet dinner on the patio overlooking Lafarge Lake accompanied by live music, and followed by a full concert in the studio theatre.

Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Gabriela Geneva and her band will provide pre-show entertainment.
