Five big free events this summer in Vancouver

      As far as free events go, they don’t get much bigger than the West 4th Avenue Khatsahlano Street Party (yes, it’s a mouthful) this Saturday (July 12).

      But that’s not the only free-admission gathering worth checking out this summer in Vancouver.

      Here’s five other outdoor events that you can attend without paying a cent.

       

      1. Celebration of Light

      Where: English Bay.

      Highlights: Fireworks displays from teams representing the U.S., France, and Japan.

      Highlights: Japanese Canadian art, historical walking tours, and food.
