      Canadian comedian Pete Zedlacher performs a night of standup comedy at the Comedy MIX.

      Standup comedian Richard Lett performs with guest Ryan Paterson and emcee Andrew Johnston at Yuk Yuk's Comedy Club.

      The PAL Theatre hosts a night of parodies of your favourite TV shows, satires of West Coast culture, and sketches covering the silly to the surreal.

      Ross Dauk and Andy Kallstrom host standup comedy about moons. Held at the Little Mountain Gallery.

       

      LITERARY EVENTS

      Starhawk celebrates the release of her 13th book City of Refuge with an afternoon workshop and an evening reading and book signing. Held at the St. James Community Square.

      HepCBC presents an evening of reading Nanaimo poet Goldberg's poetry, a short documentary film about hepatitis C, and a lively patient panel. Held at the Kensington Community Centre.

       

      MUSIC

      Vetta Music performs Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Seasons of the Sea, a new work by Jeffrey Ryan. Held at the West Point Grey United Church.

      Celtic Medieval Folk Music Night begins with a ballroom-dance demonstration and is followed by a performance by Caelestra. Held at All Saints Anglican Church.

       

      MOVIES

      Aaron Wickenden and Dan Rybicky's film Almost There tells the story of outsider artist Peter Anton. Screened at the Vancity Theatre.

      Vancity Theatre presents Us and Them, Krista Loughton's film that takes a look at the story of four of Victoria's street people.
