Gold Broker trailer promises show about Vancouver real-estate market

Just as Vancouver's overheated real-estate market has come under intense criticism and raised concerns, a trailer for a new Chinese-language show about real estate has popped up.

Richmond production company Focus Media posted a flashy 90-second video to YouTube on April 19 that showcases scenes of Vancouver, luxurious home interiors, golfing, yachting, and Asian businesspeople. The video is entitled "《金牌经纪》第二版预告片" and an approximate translation of the show's title is Gold Broker.

Among the people featured in the video is Vancouver realtor Chris Lee, as he shows homes to clients.

24 Hours confirmed that the forthcoming show will follow various realtors selling properties in Vancouver.

The trailer says the show will be available sometime this month.

Vancouver has a growing history of reality series that focus on the lifestyles of the rich, including the reality TV series Real Housewives of Vancouver and the web series Ultra Rich Asian Girls.
