The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors Snowflake

From May 30 to June 5, the Vancouver International Children's Festival presents Snowflake at the Waterfront Theatre (1412 Cartwright, Granville Island).

A favourite of past festivals, Snowflake is a one-man theatrical comedy performed by world-renowned clown Gale LaJoye.

Using the magic of illusion, LaJoye floats in midair, breaths life into toys, creates imaginative music, and dances The Nutcracker on skis.

Through the portrayal of a street character that lives in a vacant lot, LaJoye enjoins the audience to realize what's important in life.

Tickets for Snowflake are $22 and $12.50 and are available online.
