Felindr Kittens of the Week: Gingersnaps and Molasses, the feline sweeteners
Welcome to Felindr, the Georgia Straight's feline adoption web feature.
Each profile is of an eligible catchelor or catchelorette from VOKRA, the non-profit Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association dedicated to the rescue of cats in the Lower Mainland.
Names: Gingersnaps and Molasses
Profession: feline sweeteners and pastry chefs
We’re seeking: a home to naturally sweeten (we're better than Splenda, Aspartame, Sucralose, stevia, and even honey!)
Physical description: Gingersnaps is chat à l'orange while Molasses is a syrupy brown and black mix that looks delicious and tastes even better
Ethnicity: Ambrosian
Want kids? No, because they will gobble us up too fast
Smoke: Ruins the flavour
Drink: It's always good to wash down your desserts with a spot of tea or maybe even an apéritif
Faith: We believe natural sweeteners like us are better than artificial ones
Our purrsonalities: sweet and rich, with a little kick that has that je ne sais quoi quality
Our conversational interests: new baking recipes, how to remove Molasses from the rug, philosophical debates about how the cookie crumbles
Our hobbies: playing, wrestling for no apparent reason, running around with no intended destination, making desserts and pastries and various crêpes félins
Our likes: licking ourselves because we taste so good, pretending to be cookies, cakes, or various confections that you can cuddle up with and enjoy without downing calories or carbs (we're zero-calorie delectables!)
Our dislikes: lemons, sourpussies
Our motto: Home sweet forever home
Our expectations of a relationship: To sweeten your life without sending you to the dentist
