From the Vault: A Vancouver Classic by Trooper

It always pays to know your history. With that in mind, every Saturday From the Vault brings you a classic music video by a Vancouver artist.

One thing I have discovered since starting this weekly feature is that it's not so easy to find decent videos for Vancouver artists from any time before the '80s. I couldn't find much footage of Trooper from the band's 1970s heyday, but I did discover the following clip on former keyboardist Frank Ludwig's YouTube channel. It's unclear exactly what year this is from, since "The Boys in the Bright White Sports Car" was first featured on Trooper's 1976 LP Two for the Show but didn't become a hit until it was rereleased on Hot Shots in '79.

Just try not to play air guitar during the solo. It's impossible.
