The 30th Vancouver Fringe Festival takes place September 4 to 14, 2014.

This year's festival kicks off with an opening night fundraiser at Performance Works on Granville Island on Tuesday, September 2, at 6 p.m., with one of the Fringe’s most well known artists, TJ Dawe, in the Vancouver premier of Marathon, as well as a performance by Seattle-based bluegrass rockers, the Cave Singers.

Before TJ Dawe hits the stage, he will join fellow Fringe alumni and ticket purchasers in a pre-show reception with hors d’oeuvres, treats, and beverages courtesy of Dockside Restaurant, the Keg, Camino, McAuslan Brewing, Barefoot Wine & Bubbly, and the Liberty Distillery.

The night will close with a concert by the Cave Singers.

Tickets for the entire evening are priced at $100 (includes tax receipt for $50), or $20 for the Cave Singers concert only.

Tickets are on sale at vancouverfringe.com/openingnight from now until noon on September 2. More tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
