The Georgia Straight presents Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires at the Orpheum

Live Nation has announced that American soul singer-songwriter Charles Bradley and his band the Extraordinaires will play a show at the Orpheum Theatre on Saturday, September 17, in support of their third album, Changes.

The remarkable against-all-odds rise of Bradley since the release of his 2011 debut album No Time For Dreaming has been well documented.  He transcended a bleak life on the streets and struggled through a series of ill-fitting jobs before finally being discovered by Daptone's Gabriel Roth.

Bradley's ascent continued with the 2013 release of his second album Victim of Love, which saw Bradley emerging from his past heartaches stronger and more confident, overflowing with love to share.

Tickets for the all-ages show are priced at $29.50 and $39.50 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (June 17) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.

Tickets will also be available for purchase by phone at 1-855-985-5000.
