Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren has emerged as the Democratic Party's chief critic of Donald Trump.

This weekend, she repeated her mantra that the presumptive Republican presidential nominee is a "thin-skinned, racist bully".

Warren's comments came as Vancouver's LGBT and Muslim communities are planning to hold hands outside the Trump tower on West Georgia Street. The 4 p.m. demonstration was called to express displeasure over Trump trying to divide gays and Muslims in the wake of the Orlando shootings.

Warren has also called Trump a "loser" on many occasions.

It's a theme she expanded upon in her Saturday (June 18) speech to Democrats in New Hampshire.

"Now Trump University failed, and that's no surprise," Warren said . "Think about all the other Trump failures. Trump casinos. Trump Airlines. Trump steaks. Trump magazines. Trump vodka. Trump Mortgage. Trump Games. Trump Travel. Trump Ice. Trump Network."

The verbal broadside came a day after Warren visited presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's campaign headquarters. This has fuelled speculation that Warren might become Clinton's vice presidential candidate.

Elizabeth Warren accuses Donald Trump of "kissing the fannies of the poor misunderstood Wall Street bankers".
