      Vancouver-based blues-soul artist David Ward and his band performs as part of the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival. Held at David Lam Park.

      Sunwave 2016 - WAVE III features music by Max Ulis, K.A.S.H., Jesse Bru, Marc Gerrard, MI DI, and sladien.m. Held at Koerner's Pub.

      Grammy Award-winning vocalist Gregory Porter performs with the Bruno Hubert Trio as part of the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival. Held at the Vogue Theatre.

      Vancouver-based musician Gordon Grdina presents his culture-mashing project that combines Western and traditional Arabic music. Part of the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival. Held at Performance Works.

      California-based jazz-world musician Vinny Golia and his band perform with Clyde Reed and Dylan van der Schyff as part of the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival. Held at Ironworks.

      Vancouver punk-rock band Pointed Sticks take the stage at the Columbia Theatre.

       

      DANCE

      Enjoy traditional English folk dance with live music, sticks, hankies, and bells. Presented by Tiddley Cove Morris at the Vancouver Public Library Central Branch.

      Kokoro Dance performs a new dance that embraces the sand, water, and air of Wreck Beach. Held at Wreck Beach.

       

      MUSIC

      Soprano Isabel Bayrakdarian and pianist Serouj Kradjian perform Spanish tango songs at the Roy Barnett Recital Hall.

      Mezzo soprano Emma Parkinson and soprano Sinéad White present duets, arias, and songs by Strauss, Berlioz, and Brahms. Held at St. Andrew's–Wesley United Church.

      Celebrate the silver jubilee anniversary celebrations of Pandit Jasraj School of Music Foundation with a concert by Param Pujya Guruji Pandit Jasraj. Held at Michael J. Fox Theatre.

       

      THEATRE

      Theatre In the Raw's Rattle Bag Summer 2016 One-Act Mini-Fest features Linda McCready's Finders Keepers, Virginia Hayden's Bel Canto, and Patrick Foley's The Rounder. Held at Local Loft.
