The New Pornographers have had a hell of a career. But long before the Vancouver-spawned indie-pop supergroup was debuting in the Top 40 of the Billboard 200, playing for Jimmy Fallon and David Letterman's audiences on late-night TV, and landing songs in the video game Rock Band, it put out its debut album.
