Interior Design Show West, best known as IDSwest, takes place at the Vancouver Convention Centre from Thursday to Sunday (September 25 to 28). Now in its 10th year, the event features the latest trends, ideas, and products designed for the home.

We’re unveiling exclusive behind-the-scenes content and celebrating design from across North America and abroad,” David Tyldesley, director of IDSwest, stated in a news release. “We invite design enthusiasts from far and wide to come and learn from the design world’s most creative minds. IDSwest is the Western hub for a diverse group of creative types who come to experience what’s up-and-coming in the world of design.”

Attendees will have a chance to check out new furnishings, floor coverings, fixtures, décor, and more from Montreal, Toronto, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Italy, and Vancouver.

This year’s speaker highlights include Dutch designer Bertjan Pot, New York’s Asher Israelow, Toronto’s Sarah Richardson, designers from Vancouver’s Patkau Architects, and guests from New York’s Brooklyn Design Group.

New features include PROCESS presented by Fusion TV, which pulls back the curtain on design projects as they develop to completion; Prototype, a competition that pairs big-name mentors with students to create prototypes for future products; The District featuring Poppytalk Curated, a retail selection at the show where makers and designers showcase and sell their products; Working Lunch, hosted by Italian brand Nidi; and the Coast Modern documentary screening followed by a panel discussion.

Tickets to IDSwest can be purchased online in advance.
