The Georgia Straight presents Hozier at the Orpheum

Live Nation has announced that Irish singer-songwriter Hozier will play a show at the Orpheum Theatre on Sunday, February 15, 2015, in support of his self-titled debut studio album.

Hozier was born on St. Patrick's Day in County Wicklow and joined his first band when he was 15.

After teaching himself to play guitar and piano, Hozier went to Trinity College where he joined the Trinity Orchestra, fronting their missions into the world of classic rock before dropping out to concentrate his talents on the creative process full time.

Hozier, featuring the hit single "Take Me To Church," is set for an October 7 release.

Tickets for the all-ages show are priced at $25 and $35 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale on this Friday (September 26) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.

Tickets will also be available for purchase by phone at 1-855-985-5000 and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
