He writes amazing songs, he's got a helluva voice, and he plays one mean guitar.

He's John Fogerty, and he's heading to B.C. for shows at the Abbotsford Centre on October 18 and Victoria's Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre on the 19th.

Fogerty is currently on his Rollin' On the River Tour, which means that--as well as solo hits like "The Old Man Down the Road" and "Centerfield"--he'll be focusing on tunes from his old band, Creedence Clearwater Revival. His current setlist includes such CCR gems as "Bad Moon Rising", "Green River", "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?", "Fortunate Son", "Travelin Band", and "Proud Mary".

Tickets for both shows are priced at $79.50, $49.50, and $20 (plus service charges and fees), and go on sale Monday (July 18) at 10 am at Live Nation.
