Pups & Cups puppy pop-up café to offer coffee and canines on Friday

Vancouver's cat café, Catfe, has been a smashing success, with long wait times and even boasting Adele among its legions of fans.

There's also been bunny yoga and cat yoga.

So it's inevitable that there'd eventually be a puppy café too.

Mind you, it's a one-day pop-up so you'll only have a limited time to enjoy a cup of joe along with a side of canine cuteness.

The B.C. SPCA and Taxi Café are teaming up to present the Cups & Pups event on Friday (August 5) from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Taxi (515 Richards Street).

Admisison is $10 and you'll have the chance to meet dogs patiently waiting to be adopted.

B.C. SPCA representatives will be on hand to answer questions about adoption as well as to talk about the work they do.

(Meanwhile, if kittens and cats are more your preference and if you can't make it out to Catfé, you can check out our weekly Felindr to find your feline soulmate.)
