      When and where: August 15 at Yagger's Restaurant & Sports Bar (Pender Street) at 9 p.m.
      What to expect: Looking for a fun night out on a Monday night in Kitsilano? Then come on down to Yagger's Kitsilano for another great night of stand-up comedy featuring some of the best comedians currently working on the Vancouver comedy scene. This week's headliner is Katie-Ellen Humphries.

      When and where: August 16-20 at Yuk Yuk's Comedy Club. Tues-Thurs at 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 7 & 9:30 p.m.
      What to expect: Yuk Yuk’s Vancouver comedy club provides the best live comedy in the city of Vancouver. Located on Cambie Street and West 12th Ave our Vancouver comedy club gives live stand-up comedy a new meaning in Vancouver attractions. Top Talent Showcase on August 16, Amateur night on August 17, Yuk Off Comedy Competition on August 18, John Cullen headlines August 19-20.

      When and where: August 17 at Seven Dining Lounge at 8 p.m.
      What to expect: Have you ever wanted to try stand-up comedy? This open mic is very receptive to new comics. Bring some friends and make a night of it!

      The Comedy Mix

      When and where: August 18-20 at the Comedy MIX. Tuesday-Thursday at 8:30 p.m., Friday & Saturday 8 and 10:30 p.m. shows.
      What to expect: Plant yourself in a plush booth, graze on some pub grub, sip a beer or two, and laugh along with some new and hot stand-up comedy. Oh, by the way, nobody else is responsible if you laugh so hard beer comes out of your nose. Just warning you. Pro-am night on August 16, Comedy Showcase on August 17, DJ Demers headlines on August 18-20.

      What to expect: We see a lot of comedy at Stand-Up & Deliver! Comedy Open Mic every Wednesday, so we decided to put on a monthly showcase of some of the best established and rising comics who grace our stage each week! Stand-Up & Deliver! ProAm Showcase 4 is headlined by the one and only Brett Martin!
