Stranger Things 2 is officially on the way

After playing footsie with us for the past few weeks, Netflix has finally if not inevitably announced that its summer blockbuster Stranger Things has been renewed for a second season.

But you'll have to wait until "2017" (whenever that is!) to find out of if returning executive producers and creators the Duffer Brothers, Sean Levy, and Dan Cohen will be able to effectively explain why Hopper turned out to be such a fink or if the government torture of children is still fertile ground for our mindless entertainment.
