Worst driver in Calgary is probably from Vancouver

    1 of 2 2 of 2

As any Vancouverite who has ever had their blood pressure hit heart-attack levels after sliding behind the wheel of a car knows, we live in a city where 90 percent of the population has zero clue how to drive.

Plunk a spaced-out Lotuslander on the streets of Montreal in a motor vehicle, and they'd be a road-rage-incident victim within 10 minutes.

It's somehow good to know then that we aren't the only city where people get their driver's licences from Cracker Jack boxes.

Watch while this riot-stooge spends five minutes trying to get out of a parking lot in Calgary. A parking lot, it must be said, that Stevie Wonder would have had no trouble navigating.

There's only one explanation for the quite frankly insane level of incompetence: the woman behind the wheel is actually from Vancouver.

Police tracked her down and charged her with hitting the car and then taking off.

No! This was an Alberta driver; when you've been on motorcycles for 40 years; the biggest fear is an Alberta plate. And Calgary is the epicentre for Alberta, so this is just to be expected. Male or Female this is a typical Alberta driver. Amazing; hard to believe, like the Ogopogo, but caught on video.

sorry, but she (and everyone LIKE her) should have their license taken away permanently.

as for Richmond drivers, MOST should not be driving.
They ignore stop signs, can not BACKUP safely, park in crosswalks, ignore traffic lights. and most rules of the road. Problem in Richmond is the lack of BC licenses. The fines should be $1000 fist offense, and the vehicle taken for 30 days.

If this is acceptable (the woman in the video), then why should anyone take to take and pass a drivers test? Just give a license to everyone.

I watched this in slack jawed amazement. In her defence, pretty weak defence sure, that red car parallel parked at the end messed her up. Then after she hits that car, I bet the panic was settling in and freezing up her brain. She needed to stop and think for a while and calm down. The decision making was terrible. So painful to watch!

No front license plate indicates that it's most likely an Alberta driver. Vehicles in British Columbia are required to carry front AND back plates.

That's why parking lots in Vancouver are like the size of a football field. To prevent panic from setting in, dont leave the lower mainland. That's where normal drivers and normal parking conditions exist!

I had to stop watching the video about halfway through. The red mist started to rise and people's lives were in danger.
