The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors Big Draw Vancouver 2016

On Saturday, October 1, Big Draw Vancouver 2016 touches down at various Vancouver venues.

Formerly known as the Vancouver Draw Down, this year's event has moved to the fall and joined forces with the International Big Draw.

At the seventh annual drawing event, Vancouverites of all ages can discover and explore their inner artist through a series of over 40 diverse, hands-on drawing workshops.

Designed and led by professional artists, events include opportunities like taking part in sand drawings at the beach, making hand-drawn films, and joining a sidewalk sound project.

The drawing workshops will take place at community centres, galleries, public parks, stores, and streets within Vancouver.

Activities at Big Draw Vancouver 2016 are free of charge.
