Veteran NDP MP Libby Davies has announced she is not running for another term in the next federal election.

In honour of the occasion, here's five photos of the beloved progressive MP from Vancouver East.

First elected to Parliament in 1997, Davies is deputy leader of the NDP.

After 18 years I guess Libby is entitled to her retirement. I just hate to see her go.
