Kevin Bieksa, Zack Kassian, and kittens star in 2014 Canucks Christmas video

It’s nearly Christmas, which means the Vancouver Canucks have released their annual Christmas video.

Last year, some of the team’s most popular players, including Henrik and Daniel Sedin, Roberto Luongo, Ryan Kesler, Kevin Bieksa, and Alex Burrows, starred in the video. They wore ugly Christmas sweaters and answered holiday-related questions on cameras, while a festive Michael Bublé tune played in the background.

This season’s Christmas video features newer and lesser-known Canucks: Zack Kassian, Luca Sbisa, Nick Bonino, Shawn Matthias, Derek Dorsett, Radim Vrbata, and Bieksa all make appearances in the three-minute clip.

Instead of ugly Christmas sweaters, the players are wearing Canucks-branded holiday apparel. Also, Sbisa is clutching a kitten throughout the video for some reason.

Other highlights include Bieksa singing “Silent Night” just after the one-minute mark, Matthias looking really disappointed by the fact that his mom is allergic to Christmas trees, and Kassian pretty much looking like the scariest Santa Clause ever.
