      What to expect: From the people that brought you Mermaid Club Comedy at the Railway Club, comes Chug-A-Lug Comedy at Yagger's on Pender: a standup comedy show happening the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month at the downtown Yagger's.

      The Comedy Mix

      When and where: October 4-8 at the Comedy MIX. Tuesday-Thursday at 8:30 p.m., Friday & Saturday 8 and 10:30 p.m. shows.
      What to expect: Plant yourself in a plush booth, graze on some pub grub, sip a beer or two, and laugh along with some new and hot stand-up comedy. Oh, by the way, nobody else is responsible if you laugh so hard beer comes out of your nose. Just warning you.       Teen Angst Night

      When and where: October 8 at Fox Cabaret at 8 p.m.
      What to expect: Teen Angst Night is a popular comedic reading series hosted by Sara Bynoe where people read from their embarrassing old teenage notebooks. Readers share anything and everything (poetry, songs, letters, journals, diaries, essays, stories, plays, lists, etc) so long as it follows these rules: 1- The work must be your own. 2- You must have written it between the ages of 10-19. 3- You cannot be proud of the work you share. It’s best if you’re super embarrassed.
