SFU Philosopher's Café and the City Program present bike cafés in Vancouver

      SFU Philospher's Café and the City Program are presenting a series of bike cafés, running from January 13 to April 14.

      These discussions, designed to engage Vancouver's cycling community, will take place at cyclist-friendly coffee bars along major commuter cycling routes. 

      Richard Campbell moderates a forum on all-weather cycling on January 13, 6 pm, at Musette Caffe Chinatown (75 E. Pender).

      Chris Bruntlett speaks on building bicycle culture on January 29, 6 pm, at Tandem Bike Café (3195 Heather).

      Gordon Price discusses cycling and generational politics on February 10, 6 pm, at Musette Caffe Chinatown (75 E. Pender).

      Richard Campbell talks about cycling and automated vehicles on February 26, 6 pm, at Tandem Bike Café (3195 Heather).

      Erin O'Melinn moderates a forum on the links between transportation choice, affordability, and happiness on March 10, 6 pm, at Musette Caffe Chinatown (75 E. Pender).

      Melissa Bruntlett speaks on bridging the cycling gender gap on March 26, 6 pm, at Tandem Bike Café (3195 Heather).

      Richard Campbell leads a discussion on car-free streets in Vancouver on April 14, 6 pm, at Musette Caffe Chinatown (75 E. Pender).
