On October 28 and 29, 8 pm, DanceHouse presents Jessica Lang Dance at the Vancouver Playhouse (600 Hamilton).

In its Canadian-debut performance, the American dance company will be presenting Thousand Yard Stare, a piece that evokes the experieces of soldiers in wartime.

For the work, choreographer and artistic director Jessica Lang interviewed battle veterans and investigated post-traumatic stress and its treatment as research.

The mixed program will also include dance pieces Lines Cubed, The Calling, and i.n.k., as well as short film White.
