If you and a partner are seasoned travellers who are adept at navigating unfamiliar urban and cultural terrain, then you may want to consider auditioning for The Amazing Race Canada.

CTV announced today (October 12) that it is renewing the competition series for a fifth season. And what's more, casting for the forthcoming season is now open.

It'll coincide with the country's 150th anniversary so the show promises to ramp up highlights of our country more than ever.

In the most recent season, Toronto's Kristen McKenzie and Steph LeClair broke through the gender gap to become the show's first all-female team to win the show.

Although several teams from B.C. have competed on the show, there has yet to be a team from this province to be named the champions.

Think you've got what it takes? Send in your audition video and forms by the December 1 deadline.

For information on how to submit an audition video, visit the show's website or Facebook page.
