Vancouver cyclist seriously hurt in SUV collision at Adanac Street and Clark Drive

A cyclist has suffered serious injuries after being hit by a small SUV at Clark Drive and Adanac Street in East Vancouver.

The collision happened around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday (January 15), according to Vancouver police.

The driver remained at the scene of the crash. Paramedics took the 60-year-old cyclist to hospital.

Adanac Street is one of the busiest local street bikeways in the city, feeding into the Dunsmuir Street separated bike lane in the downtown core.
