The Shat will hit the fans in Vancouver

Local geek extravaganza Fan Expo Vancouver has just announced that William Shatner will appear at this year's convention, which takes place April 3-5 at the Vancouver Convention Centre (1055 Canada Place).

While the original James T. Kirk isn't the only major guest announced, it's fair to say that the events he appears at will almost certainly be at capacity.

If, for some strange reason, a horndog space captain doesn't interest you, Brent Spiner (Star Trek: The Next Generation) and Lance Henriksen (Aliens, Millennium) are also headlining.
