      CONCERTS

      The Biltmore Cabaret hosts the String Fling Concert, featuring Four on the Floor, Jim Byrnes, Ryan Guldemond, Dustin Bentall, Parker Bossley, Hannah Epperson, Dominique Fricot, Dan Moxon, and Tonye Aganable.

      FORUMS

      Emmy award-winning screenwriter Andrew Wreggitt gives a talk about his career in TV. Held at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre.

      EVENTS ETC

      The Emerald hosts Skin Game, a series of stage-free stripteases by Voodoo Pixie, Veronica Vex, Vanity Feral, and Deja Louve.

      FOOD AND DRINK

      At Studio 1398, Feast on Film features a screening of Like Water for Chocolate and a three-course meal accomapnied by VQA wine pairings.

      MUSIC

      Wednesday Noon Hours sees tenor J. Patrick Raftery and pianist Richard Epp perform works by Kurt Weill and Richard Wagner. Held at the Roy Barnett Recital Hall.

      LITERARY EVENTS

      The Vancouver Public Library Central Branch hosts Incite, an evening of readings by authors Linden MacIntyre and Michael Christie.

      THEATRE

      As part of the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival,  Kate McIntosh's anarchic play Dark Matter  (pictured above) is performed at SFU's Goldcorp Centre for the Arts.

      COMEDY

      The Rio Theatre hosts the Critical Hit Show, an evening of comedy based around the classic role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons.
