The results of a unique Chinese art competition launched last fall have been unveiled in a free exhibit.

Oakridge Centre's West Galleria is home to the display of the winners and selected runners-up of the Chinese Arts Bridge Competition, designed to showcase new and established Chinese artists in Canada.

The Canada Chinese Arts Bridge Association organized the contest with the help of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA), the Chinese Canadian Artists Federation of Vancouver, and Chinatown's International Art Gallery.

Members of the FCA and community arts groups evaluated works in three categories: western art, Chinese art, and calligraphy.

The exhibit will remain at Oakridge until February 9.
