The Straight gets to know some of the artists participating in this year’s upcoming Eastside Culture Crawl.

Who are you? Marion Webber—I am an artist living in Vancouver for over 30 years. I have both a design and fine arts background.

Where is your studio? Suite 218-1000 Parker St.

How many years have you participated in the East Side Culture Crawl? This is my first year as a participating artist. I have attended ECC every year since its inception twenty years ago.

What’s your medium? I work mostly in oils, but also other media such as acrylic paint, ink, oil pastel and graphite.

What are some new pieces we can find at your studio during this year’s Crawl? I will show a range of art from traditional to more contemporary styles, predominantly landscape and nature themes. I will highlight selections from these new series: "Cloud Cathedrals", "Into The Other Land" and my newest series, "Avenue Walk".
