The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors Hansel and Gretel

From November 24 to December 11, Hansel and Gretel comes to the Vancouver Playhouse (600 Hamilton).

Presented by the Vancouver Opera, the event reimagines the classic fairy tale about two children who find themselves wandering in a forest in a magical adventure.

The production features puppets created by the Old Trout Puppet workshop and a specially commissioned reduced orchestration.

Tickets for Hansel and Gretel start at $25 and are available online.
