UBC’s Museum of Anthropology invites the public to celebrate Family Day on Monday (February 8) from 2 to 4 p.m.

Explore c̓əsnaʔəm, the city before the city, an exhibit told entirely from the first-person perspectives of Musqueam community members both past and present. The exhibit features experiential and reflexive installments that seek to replicate aspects of Musqueam ways of educating.

Families will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities relating to the exhibit, including weaving on a loom, learning about local native plants, and interacting with archeological materials.

Two food trucks, The Dog House and Roaming Bowl, will be parked outside the museum from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day.
