The Georgia Straight presents Spoon at Malkin Bowl

      Live Nation and Timbre Concerts have announced that American rock group Spoon will play a show at Malkin Bowl—with guests Future Islands—on Sunday, May 24, in support of its eighth studio album, They Want My Soul.

      Britt Daniel, Jim Eno, Rob Pope, Eric Harvey, and Alex Fischel will bring their live act to cities across the U.S. and Canada, including stops at major festivals such as Bonnaroo, Sasquatch, Hangout, and Firefly.

      They Want My Soul received wide critical acclaim upon its release and was included on many year-end lists.

      Tickets for the all-ages show are priced at $35 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale on next Friday (February 13) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.

      Tickets will also be available for purchase by phone at 1-855-985-5000, at Red Cat Records, and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
