      The Straight gets to know some of the artists participating in this year’s upcoming Eastside Culture Crawl.

      Who are you? Sherry Cooper, visual artist living in Vancouver, B.C.

      Where is your studio? 108-1000 Parker Street.

      How many years have you participated in the East Side Culture Crawl? Five years. 

      What’s your medium? I work in collage, sculpture, painting and mixed media. Texture, colour and organic shapes embody my work.

      What are some new pieces we can find at your studio during this year’s Crawl? I am currently working on a series called Morphing: a semi-abstract style where I explore the overlap of rhythm and structure.
