The Georgia Straight presents An Evening with Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt

Worldwide Music Ventures has announced that Americana artists Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt will play the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on March 6, 2017.

A singer, composer, and actor, Lyle Lovett has broadened the definition of American music in a career that spans 14 albums. Coupled with his gift for storytelling, the Texas-based musician fuses elements of country, swing, jazz, folk, gospel, and blues in a convention-defying manner that breaks down barriers.

John Hiatt has always been a keen observer of life’s flings and foibles alike. Usually mixed well together, Hiatt’s insights and skills at sharing them have only sharpened over the years. He recently released his 22nd studio album, Terms of My Surrender, forty years into his recording career.

Tickets for the show are priced at $40.05, $61.95, $72.45, and $103.95 (plus service charges and fees), and go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, December 21, at 10 a.m. on the Ticketmaster website, however Straight readers may access our exclusive presale starting Friday, December 16, at 10 a.m. by entering the code Memphis.
