Massive Gala 2017 has been cancelled.

In a post on the event's Facebook page, Slam & Solid Events, the show's organizers, have announced that the New Year's Eve gala will not go on as planned due to "circumstances beyond our control".

"This is an unfortunate event and we want to thank everyone who supported this show," the companies added. "We will continue to bring large scale productions to Vancouver and look forward to making exciting announcements in 2017! The quality and integrity of our shows always come first and we will continue to uphold that in future events."

Originally releasing tickets in early November, the end-of-year bash was expected to feature New Jersey rapper Fetty Wap's first appearance in Vancouver with support by Young Thug and Remy Boyz member Monty. It was scheduled to take place at the Pacific Coliseum.

Refunds will be available at the point of purchase for those who already nabbed tickets.
