Marketing heats up for Fifty Shades Darker with release of New Year's Day TV spot

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson will be back in movie theatres this Valentine's Day, which will once again put Vancouver on the map as a fill-in for Seattle.

On New Year's Day, a TV spot was released showing what looks to be Gastown in the background.

The advertisement also reveals another woman, played by Bella Heathcote, from Christian Grey's past.

Naturally, this leads to a scene near the end of the spot with Anastasia Steele holding a gun.

A trailer that was released on December 7 included many more scenes from Vancouver.
