Megyn Kelly joins NBC after blowing whistle on former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes and giving Charles Koch a free ride

Megyn Kelly became the most famous news broadcaster in the country in 2015 when Donald Trump accused her of having "blood coming out of her wherever".

She generated more attention last year after alleging in her memoir that former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes sexually harassed her.

Today, Kelly is back in the headlines after she walked out of Fox News and joined NBC.

According to the New York Times, she'll host a daytime show, anchor an in-depth Sunday night news show, and participate in political programming.

Kelly has been praised for standing up to Trump and Ailes, two of the most loathed right wingers in America. She even made the cover of Vanity Fair, a bastion of U.S. liberal thinking.

However, not nearly as much has been said about an obsequious feature interview Kelly conducted with billionaire Charles Koch in October 2015.

The interview softened Koch's image in advance of the devastating takedown by journalist Jane Mayer in her last book, Dark Money: The Hidden History of the Billionaires Behind the Rise of the Radical Right.

Greenpeace has accused Koch of funding the climate-denial movement to the tune of tens of millions of dollars.

Watch Kelly's interview with Koch below (if you can stomach it).
