On February 25, 7:30 p.m., De Profundis: From Palestrina to Pizzetti can be seen at the Holy Rosary Cathedral (646 Richards).
As part of its 59th season, local vocal group the Vancouver Cantata Singers will be presenting an evening concert celebrating Italian choral repertoire.
Although the program will equally highlight the works of composers Palestrina, Allegri, and Pizzetti, works of particular interest include Pizzetti's Requiem and Allegri's Miserere.
The Vancouver Cantata Singers will be lead by artistic director Paula Kremer.
Tickets for De Profundis: From Palestrina to Pizzetti range from $10 to $30 (plus service charges) and are available online.
