Waffle fans who enjoyed a Belgian waffle spot in Kitsilano will be pleased to know that it's back in business—but you'll have to go quite a ways from their original location to get them.

Waffle Gone Wild originally opened in Kitsilano in April 2013 at 2967 West Broadway but closed in April 2016. (The premises has since been taken over by Dip Ice Cream.)

After that three-year stint, they continued to offer their waffles and bubble tea via Spud.ca.

Now the waffle café once again has a storefront by relocating to Burnaby at 3726 Canada Way.

The café serves up a variety of Liège waffles with toppings and ingredients that ranged from the conventional to the inventive.

Sweet selections include options such as orange or banana and Nutella while savoury options range from Black Forest ham and cheese to creamy potato, as well as Japanese-influenced selections, such as matcha and—interestingly enough—okonomiyaki.

They also serve milk tea, ice slush, and fruit smoothies.
