Vancouver man builds orcas out of snow and sand at Jericho Beach

Although many commuters may be frustrated with how the snow is wreaking havoc with their commutes, a Vancouver man used the snow as creative inspiration to reflect upon nature in a very West Coast way.

While others may have been busy building snowmen or snowforts, 27-year-old Aaron Cambrin, who has a lifelong love of orcas, used both sand and snow to build two surfacing, life-sized orcas at Jericho Beach.

There may be more opportunities in the near future for Cambrin to build the rest of the pod as more snow is being forecast for Metro Vancouver.
