Metallica plays Vancouver on August 14

Live Nation announced today that Metallica will play BC Place Stadium on Monday, August 14.

The American heavy-metal band--known for such songs as "Enter Sandman", "One", and "Master of Puppets"--will be touring in support of its latest album, Hardwired...To Self-Destruct.

Opening acts are Avenged Sevenfold and Gojira.

Tickets for the Vancouver show are priced from $55.50 to $183 (plus service charges and fees), and go on sale this Friday (February 17) at 10 am at Live Nation.
