      It was inevitable.

To greet Donald Trump's two sons who will be coming to Vancouver for the opening of the Trump International Hotel and Tower on February 28, there are a few protests being organized and several hundred people have already expressed interest in attending.

The Trump Welcome Party will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Trump Tower (1161 West Georgia Street).

This West Coast welcome is still in development but organizers are hoping to have speakers, music, and more. For more information, visit their Facebook event page.

Meanwhile, the all-inclusive Resist 4 Peace March will be held on the same day.

It'll start at Jack Poole Plaza (1085 Canada Place) but, due to uncertainty about how much security will be at the Trump Tower, the march route is still to be announced. Signs and posters are encouraged, and everyone is welcome.
