The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors the Talea Ensemble

On March 11, 8 p.m., the Talea Ensemble takes the stage at the Orpheum Annex (823 Seymour).

Presented by Vancouver New Music, the New York City-based classical ensemble will perform a program that features mainstay composers from its repertoire.

Highlights of the Talea Ensemble's debut Vancouver performance include Stefan Maier's territoires III, Fausto Romitelli's Trash TV Trance, Olga Neuwirth's spazio elastico, and Pierluigi Billone's Ebe und Anders.

Music fans can take advantage of a free pre-show chat at 7:15 p.m.
