The Georgia Straight presents Rancid and Dropkick Murphys at Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre

Live Nation has announced that American punk bands Rancid and Dropkick Murphys are co-headlining a show--with guests the Selecter and Kevin Seconds--at Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre on Tuesday, August 15.

"Rancid is looking forward to hitting the road with our brothers the Dropkick Murphys,” says Rancid’s Tim Armstrong. “We will end the night with DKM and us playing songs together...SEE YA IN THE PIT!"

Tickets for the all ages show are $40, $50, $55, and $60 (plus service charges and fees), and go on sale this Friday, March 10, at 10 a.m. on the Ticketmaster website.
