If you thought the lineups at Hokkaido Ramen Santouka were crazy enough already, just imagine what they'll be like this Friday.

Why? Because March 10 is Santouka Day.

The day commemorates when the first Santouka restaurant opened its doors back in March 1988 in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, in Japan. It's also the seventh anniversary of the Robson location (1690 Robson Street).

Accordingly, ramen will be on sale for this special day.

      Hokkaido Ramen Santouka on Robson

All regular ramen will be—believe it or not—50 percent off at both the Robson and Broadway (558 West Broadway) locations. That includes shio, shoyu, miso, and karamiso ramen. On a budget? This is prime time to get a bowl of their addictive noodles and broth.

Ramen lovers: get your folding chairs and tents and start camping out in line now.

      You have been warned.
